Heres the pictos for my 8 days of Korea trip!

Its the longest post i've ever blogged yet.

And its super lag!
So, pardon me for the mess.

Get ready to digest!

Day 1

Arrived Korea at Incheon Airport in the morning.

Had Mcdonald's breakfast while waiting to meet up with the rest of the tourists.

Check out their wrapper! So cool. It will be cheap to mass produce. And we realised its made from Singapore. But why aren't we using it then? My brother actually said this...

"Because Singapore Mcdonald's majority is uncle and auntie staffs, it will be tedious for them to understand how to use this wrapper mah"

Sheesh.

After we meet up with the rest, we took the bus to Seoul, to a themepark called Yongin Everland. It was drizzling. We were distributed with erm, ponchos to wear. Teehee. Only my family didn't bring umbrella along. Funny la. Looking at everyone wearin raincoat. Didn't manage to take some of the rides because of the time constraints. :(

The entrance.

My brother.

My parents. Check out my mom! Teehee.

Looking for umbrella so that we no need to wear ponchos. -.-

I think this is so artistic. :)

Check out some of their dustbins:

First stop: Safari World, where we take this bus and drive through the so call "jungle" and get up close to the tigers, lions and bears. I remember its kinda similiar to the Thailand's. Its just that the animal here is still kinda restless maybe because its early in the morning? Its like.. 9am+ sia.

See how the bear sit on the right. So cute!

Did you see the swing over there? I WOULD love to see the baby bear play that. It can't even withstand the butt la!? Haha.

Afterwhich we were allowed with some freetime before we meet up for this virtual 3D thingy which kinda similar to Sentosa's. Check out those kiddos! Playing with the birdies.

Just stretch out ur arm and they'll fly to you. Cute stuffs!

Look at that kiddo's expression! Hahaha. Funny la.

Here are the petting farm. I think only kiddos can pet them. Because, we can't even reach it. So, need assistants. Oh wells. Check out the heaters!

They must be feeling really lonely. Poor thang.

And then this girl caught my attention!

So cute! With the curly hair, pink flowery shoes and lolipop! :)

After we had our lunch, we found out there's this halloween carnival going on.

Check out the ghost! So funny.

Yes, my brother think she's chio.

Once again. Haha.

Then we took this cable car thingy up the hill.

I like the decors !

Rock & roll

Retro

Check out their pirateship! Its really huge!

Happy Halloween!

Then, we make our way for Kimchi Making. I've got not much interest in it though. You will be surprise, i never consume ANY bit of Kimchi during my whole trip in Korea. LOL.

Yes, we tried their costume too. lol. My dad got no interest at all. So, he helped us take the pictos.

I think my mom looks great in it. Judy, our tour guide said that in korea , young ladies will wear bright costumes whereas for those who are married and all, should wear more dull ones.

I think i look damn kuku.

On the way to Airport to transfer to Jeju Island by OZ8937 flight....

On the plane.

We reached Jeju Island!

Our first dinner in Korea.

Seafood steamboat.

I don't really like it though.

Our way back to the hotel.

A sotong flew out, alive.

The hotel was average.

Strawberry milk.

Day 2

Woke up in the morning while looking out of the hotel's window, we saw people carrying umbrellas, which of no use at all as the wind is so strong that their umbrellas were blown in a mess.

The entrance of the hotel.

Abalone porriage for breakfast. It was already pouring heavily.

Ran in with our raincoats (which of no help at all) into a volcano museum. It was a substitute as alot of activities, almost all were cancelled because of the terrible weather. Like Rock and Jeju Folk Village sightseeing (which i don't really care if its cancelled. :x), a ATV motor car ride (Sounds FUN lah.), Teddy Bear Museum & Magic Road.

Had stir-fry hotplate pork for lunch! SLURPS* Its the best meal we had in Korea. Wrap it in vege or with rice and CHOMP!

Yummmmmay!

After which Judy decided to take us back to our hotel as the typhoon is almost impossible for any activites to be carried out. We were stuck in the bus on the road for a few good hours. With fear of not getting back to our hotel, alive. Once, the bus was obstructed by a electirc post that has fallen down, the driver actually went down the bus and use his BARE hands to move it away! The wind is so strong that it actually shake our bus left and right. We did take videos too.

Heres the pictos we took while in the bus...

Flooded.

Many cars were stucked.

Look at that car. He's going against the current. Crazy shit. I wonder if he's still alive now.

See how the water hit the lamp post. A few people even attempt to walk across but in the end they didnt.

Finally we were back to safety. Alot of cars were overturned and we can even see fridges and air conditional around. Shophouses were in a mess too. What an experience. Now we know how they actually feel when there's disasters. Singapore is still the best. We may be small but at least we are always safe from deadly disasters! :)

The aftermath.

Back view of our hotel.

People clearing up the mess.

Day 3

Had breakfast at the hotel and off we go to the airport to transfer to Daegu for around 40 minutes. Yes, away from the disaster.

Daegu International Airport.

Donghwa temple sightseeing.

We had Tofu and mushroom soup for lunch. Damn filling.

And, it's shopping time at Jung Angro Street...!

Delivery woman.

Underpass shopping! You can see it from here. Its like never ending! lol.

Familiar? Came across this in email before. Cute aye?

Then, we went to Daegu Spa Valley, a place for sauna and hot bath (wen quan). Oh, and there's a water themepark there too! But not open. :(

Oh, and we were told we need to be FULLY naked to go in the hot bath.

And so, i WENT FOR IT! Who cares, its now or never. I'm not going to come here again am i. Since i already dare to have a naked massage at Thailand liao. But, its one to one though. This time is like, i'll be naked infront of every girls, Korean or not. LOL. :x My mom and dad didnt went for it though. Luckily the some of the others very ON. It was really funny seeing us the bunch of girls wearing swimming costume into the hot bath area where the other korean girls were erm, happily naked. Haha. We were given a small towel though, enough for you to either choose, to cover your top, or bottom! HAHAHA. So, what the heck, we threw the towel aside. Haha. It will be even more attention grabbing if we cover ourself with the stupid green towel. Was suppose to meet up with my brother to go for the water themepark together, but, how the hell are we going to communicate when we were like separated.

None the less good experience for a person like me who even shy to wear bikinis.

After that, we had Doctor Fish Spa near the entrance.

My brother and i. Check out my red face. Haha. I dipped my face into the hot bath too. :x

The others.

The fishes will eat away ur dead skin. There's a huge one in the middle. See?

Very itchy feeling. Haha.

We had dinner at the Spa Valley itself.

Beef.

The water themepark which we didnt open! :(

Slurps*

Then we booked into our yet another new hotel, Hotel Inter-Burgo.

They even got THIS book in the drawer. Wow. How interesting.

Stuffs i bought.

Capuccino? I always thought its Cappuccino? Hmmmmmm. Shrugs*

Day 4

English breakfast. Yum. Love the harsh browns and buttery omelette
At the back of the hotel.

The bus stopped for us to have a toilet break. And we saw these!

Hahaha.

A cow.

Then we went to this Maisan Provincial Park (Tapsa Temple) for sightseeing and know the history of it Blah Blah Blah... And damn lot of kiddos lah!

SEE?

More of them! Queuing to take picto with the teddy. So adorable! Haha.

Some shophouses.

Ok, lunch time.

Love the eggs! Serve HOT.

:) Like the wallpaper.

Off we went to this "Horse-ear Mountain" direct translate from chinese though. Where in the past, there was this monk who stack up stones into hills and more hills.

We came across this very adorable cutie! Very playful and approachable. It left my leggings covered with paw prints. Sheesh.

I can make 5 wishes.

Can you spot my mom at the back with peace? Sheeesh.

Squirrels! They moved so fast that its so hard to capture them.

Reached our new hotel, Muju Tirol Hotel...

A very countryside, cottages style looking hotel! I LOIKE! Very windy somemore. Judy says only rich people stays here. Because its like away from the cities and busy streets, its so soothing to stay here.

Its my long waited GRASS SLEDDING! TEE-HEE-HEE. Luckily its not cancelled!

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I screamed like i'm riding a roller coaster at the first round.

Ma and Kor.

Me again. I didnt expect it to be so fast. lol.

My dad actually went to open all the water tap and the whole grass hill became very wet and nice for us to slide even faster and further!

Me. See how wet the grass! LOL.

:) So SHIOK. I went for five rounds! I will go for many rounds if, there's no need to climb the hill (tiring leh!) and people who were waiting for us at the benches.. Not nice luh.

Heh. Its just so addictive.

Thats our hotel room at the top right corner. :)

We got ourself change to dry clothes and head for dinner...

A healthy chicken soup. With potatoes and cabbages etc.

Some of us accompanied Judy up the hill to her hotel and to this 25hr shop. Yes, its name after 25hr. Got this honeydew ice-cream and other stuffs.

Very big and comfy bed!

And i love their furnishings.

Automated toilet bowl! I totally love it. So fun! HAHAHA. Before i actually figure out how to use it, i pressed the first button starting from the bottom, thinking that thats the flushed button. The water SHOT out and i SLAMMED the toilet bowl right away. HAHAHA. My mom even asked me why is the floor wet. :x

It can...

1. Wash ur peepee hole.

2. Wash ur shit hole.

3. With the motion of towards and backwards. LOL.

4. Blow dry ur butt.

5. Stop button.

The others i'm not very sure. I think is temperature and etc.

HUGE windows.

Day 5

Its time for breakfast. We had english breakfast at the hotel.

Totally pretty furnitures and ambience.

Yum Yum! I don't mind eating them everyday though. :) Some aunties complain they almost want to puke that those don't suit their likings.

Their cosy lobby.

Exterior.

I think this shot is pretty artistic. Yes yes, you must be thinking, "You think not looking at the camera means artistic meh?".

My mom asked me to do this. Haha.

Then, we set off to SangSoo Herb Land.

This guy damn funny lah. Keep throw free water towards us whenever people clap or what so ever. And he asked people to go up the stage to express their feeling (with action) after smelling the herb.

Yes, thats my brother. lol. Check out that auntie's reaction.

Yeap, he won 4 bottles. -.-

And then it was my dad.

Because the herbs very much help in the digestive system, like get rid our waste easily, me dad did this...

Dad: " Shhhhhhhhh...".

Yes, yes.

All of us!

The different type of herbs mineral water.

This is call PENIS DINOSAUR.

Sheesh.

My mom and her lavender.

Love tunnel.

Little black bear.

Awwwww... Its licking my fingers!

Yet another.

Then, its time for lunch! Stir-fry chicken with cabbages and Nian gao. Can't remember what is it call in english. New year cake? Hmmmmmm. Correct me if you know. Haha.

Stir stir stir~

After everything is cooked, rice is throw in to make fried rice! :) Yum!

My mom's obsession with this fruit. Don't know what is it call either. Sheesh.

Then, we took a boat ride over to Nami Island....

The place where the filming of Korean drama, Winter Sonata (Dong Ji Lian Ge). WHICH, its not even winter YET.And what made it worst is that its RAINING.

SEE! Green trees! What the hell.

The tail of the squirrel is different from Singapore ones!

See. Told ya shes obsessed with it.

This is a room consisting of the pictures of the people who acted in the drama etc. And there's this kickass huge poster... So... Since there's no winter now...

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR~!!! HAHAHA.

My mom and the statue of the drama's main actor and actress.

Aiiya. Boring pose.

Me: " I want HIM!"

Kor: " Don't leave meeeee!"

It may look like its not raining but IT is!

Like snowing aye?

Ice Kacang!!!

Did you see Rain over there? lol.

"It's raining~ it's raining~"

Yes, it's definitely raining.

Then, its time for shhopping! Wah lao... like amazing race can. Give us only one hour. Sigh.

We had Ginseng Chicken soup for dinner. Not bad cuz the Ginseng taste is not very intense.

Booked into our new hotel, Seoul Garden Hotel.

The busy streets.

The provided PJ! So comfy!

I realise my bro took a shot too. Hahaha.

Stuffs my dad bought for us. Was kinda tired to head down for shopping, so we skipped that.

They even got ice dispenser.

Day 6

We had chinese breakfast! Finally. You tiao, porriage, tea egg and SOYA BEAN MILK! :)

The streets.

Seoul Police! Cute aye? We actually thought they are having some sports till we saw the "SEOUL POLICE" on their uniform. So cool.

My mom pity that this guy got no one to take picture with, so she went ahead. Haha. I told her mine cuter. HAHA.

I can't believe we actually took picture with the police.

AND their bikes. LOL.

Their traffic police. LOL. I find it so fascinating.

We head to this Changduk Palace. Don't know much about this palace cuz didn't really pay attention as it was really hot. :x

I think she look pretty in this pic.

For putting charcoals during winter to hit up the room. HAHA. Thats all i can remember.

Interesting tree.

This was where the emperor sat, i think.

Then its time for lunch!

On the way...

Outside the restaurant. Check out my sandals! LOL. I can't take it anymore. I think my white pump cannot last liao. Water can just sip through from below! Sigh.

Performances while we ate...

They got MIRRORS in each cabinet where you can look athow chio you actually look while peeing or shitting.

With a thumb press, the plastic sheet wrapped on the seats will automatically move clockwise and change to a brand new one. Well, no more fear of falling by balancing ur killer heels on the seats or half squad!

Best still, MAGAZINES. And, its a cooking book i suppose. Fancy shitting while reading it teaching you how to make brownies with thick chocolate fudge. UHmmm* How nice. Well, it will be perfect if they even got a TV or INTERNET to use inside. I think you will be so BUSY with all those things you can't even remember you SHIT already ornot or worst still, you thought you are still in the hotel. HAHAHA.

Ok, kinda sidetrack.

This is how fast they carry the table of dishes to the customers.

Outside the restaurant, again. Yes, she love this pic so much.

Seoul bus interchange.

Its time for shopping again! This time at COEX MALL. An underpass shopping centre too.

Then we went to LOTTE WORLD THEMEPARK!

The tix.

The Map.

First ride: A boring monorail around the themepark.

But not bad lah. We can plan what to play later. lol. But this look really scary.

The building.

Interior.

Oh, this isn't a musuem. Its a LONG walkway for this indoor rollercoaster.

Yes. I think they got really good strategy there. The long walk really irritates people to go for the ride again. So, they save some cost on the operations as people WOULD not like to walk all the way in. Tsk. I was cursing all the way. Other then that, the ride was stunning. We sat on this hunter jeep and off we went in. Its like haunted house kind of ride but in the storyline of adventure hunter going through all sorts of obstacles. I thought it will be a very short ride, but no! Its quite long and with a few plunges like rollercoaster not like Singapore one, only know how to move straight. They got real Fire and very interesting settings. Very impressive indeed. Too bad no picture because i scared my camera will fall off. lol. Oh yah, to add on the fun, behind us was 4 japanese guy, (act) screaming like hell. So funny la.

It was then our free time after the two rides. We went outdoor! :)

First stop: The Gyro Drop. Cuz got no queue. I think pretty similar to the Genting one, just that it actually rotates up so that you can get a good view of everything! I always tell me myself i will take a good view of everything when it DROPS, but once again, i close my eyes shut like hell when i hear the *TENG* sound and told them " THATS IT". ZOOM! I'm at the ground floor again. And i didn't scream. So i felt damn uncomfortable. But oh well, nice view. Haha.

Nice shot taken by my dad. Me and my brother infront and my mom at the back of my brother. Heh.

Second Stop: Didn't see what is it call but this is the ride which really interest us. As it seems the non-scariest and yet FAST rollercoaster. By the look at it, we thought & you may think, oh, its a water ride. HELL NO. When we sat on it, we thought, aiya, chicken feet. So, like any other roller coaster, the track will bring u up with the *Teck teck teck* sound right? HELL NO again. Good strategy here too because people who are queuing know nothing about it. Starting of the ride, yes, *teck teck teck* And half way through, ZOOM! We were being SUCK UP IN THE VERY INSTANCE that we can't even react! My brother and I just duct our head low scared kena hit by the "man made cave". I tell you, SCARY shit. Its like our neck will break anytime during the ride. After the ride, i don't even dare to go near. I already feel like puking.

Lesson learnt: NEVER underestimate the ride.

We felt pretty sick just by looking at this ride. Thus, we skipped it. So, we went for smth simple like bumper car. LOL. Pretty boring. First, it was because majority was korean school girls and they just wouldnt hit me! I'm always the one charging at them. Teeheehee.
Then we went back to indoor for our last ride. A log ride. Yea.

Ice skating ring.

Oh, i forgot to mention that this themepark is previously use to film the korean drama Stairway to heaven (tian guo de jie ti) hahaha. If i spell it correctly.

7.30pm - Carnival!

We had our dinner at a Szechuan restaurant before the carnival.

Giordano and Zhang Dong Jian, my mom's hunk. Hahaha. She's like telling me he got nice eyes and all.

CoffeeBean.

After we booked in the hotel, my brother and i went out ourselves to shop around.

Tom and Toms Coffee. Haha. Notice the similarity of the fonts/logo to starbucks? Sheeeesh. They've got plenty of pirated starbucks. lol.

Sexy Bikini Bar. lol.

Gucci.

Bought nothing much. :( It was still drizzling. So, we're back to our hotel. Ritz-Carlton Seoul! 5 stars+ so to say by Judy. Haha.

Hotel card.

The room.

Actually, other than having a good view i don't know the much difference of the hotels. lol.

Stuffs we bought.

Makeup Remover from Face Shop. Damn GOOD product i tell you. Highly recommended for those people who find it difficult to remove your waterproof mascara. Plus, its not oil base! Previously products which i bought just sucks. Around $8 only! Should have buy more. I wonder S'pore got sell not.

mr. big - "WHEN YOU'RE THIS BIG, THEY CALL YOU MISTER."

HAHAHA. This is funny.

Day 7

Nice view aye?

The exterior.

On our way for breakfast. A pretty normal one. Buffet style. So didn't take any picture.

Their roadsign.

Check this out. Their automated parking system!

Way too cool.

Then we went to Amethyst factory. Yes, KA-CHING.

Alot of people buy lah. Even the second batch Cheena ppl came in also left liao, our batch still inside buying. We only bought some for souvenirs and for ourselves. Judy thanks us profusely because she will of cuz earn damn lot of commision. :)

My mom and Judy.

Then, we are on our way to our last SHOPPING!

Their Daiso!

Plenty of Giordano there too.

Check this out. Seven Monkeys Coffee. HAHAHA. Wth right. Yes yet another similarity to Starbucks.

THis is call Nu Ren Jie in chinese which translate as " Lady Street". Yes, yet another amazing race of shopping.

Alot of shop havn't open yet because its still early in the morning.

Another shopping mall. Don't even think about going in. 1 hr is definitely not sufficient.

Mrt station?

My mom and i were the last to arrived. She bought her boots and i bought a few stuffs too. Yes. FEW stuffs. Sigh.

Then off we went for lunch!

Its call Bibimbap if i'm not wrong. Mixture of shredded veges like cucumber, beansrpout, mushroom, carrot and don't know what. Topped with fried egg and seaweed. Mixed in their korea chili and STIR! Those who know, i'm not a very big fan of vege. However, i ate it still. The only plus point is that the rice which is direct contact with the hot stone bowl will turn very crispy. So, on further stirring, it will be like eating potato chips.

Yea, time flies and its time to say goodbye to Korea....

Off to the airport...

On-building bridge.

A very LONG stretch of it across.

Judy explaining about the bridge.

Finally we reached the airport.

And its time to bid goodbye to Judy, a very sweet and organised tour guide.

Every group took picture with judy... My bro took these, abit blur though.

Last but not least. My family with her. :)

Check out the mascot HAND! He CAN'T PEACE! HAHAHAHA. Yea, i was there laughing for a few good minutes. Heh.

Chio bu.

Waiting for our flight.

My dad with our plane.

We're back in S'pore around 10pm+.

Ahhhhhhh~ Home sweet home.

I don't mind going Korea again. But, before i visit other countries first! I want to go Taiwan for shopping! And alot alot of other countries! Pa mentioned about going to Bali during ma's birthday dinner. Ma was kinda disapproving because she thinks that its very dangerous over there. So, we shall see. :)

Woah. This post took me 4 days to finish. Crazy shit.

I can't believe school is starting like, SOON! Damnit. I hope i can pinch myself and this is all just a dream. And i'll appear in the first day of school holiday. Man, grant me one more month can?

Sigh.
